Ran 6 miles on the trail in 64 degrees and sun. Mike, the middleaged guy I talked to yesterday, passed me and said I was his new hero!

Ran 6 miles in mid 60's and sun. Trail is dry. What a beautiful day. Younger man I talked to thought I looked early 50's. Told him running is the foutain of youth. Foot ok.

Ran 6 miles at the park in my Red Wing outfit. Got funny looks. 45 and rain. No ice fishermen. Foot got numb after 5 miles.

Ran 6 miles alone in 41 degrees and sun. Stopped a couple times for numb foot but a little better. Will be fine by spring. Warming up, hope for more running this week.

I ran 6 1/2 miles at the park. Disco ran 8, but my foot kept going numb so he went without me. Talked to 2 women who were planning on running a marathon in Santiago, Chile in May. I told them it won't happen due to the massive eathquake there yesterday.

I ran 8 miles with Disco this morning without having to stop. I put a bandage on the inside of my foot to prevent rubbing and turning numb. Weather was in the 30's and pleasant. We ran on the bike path to the entrance to the park and back to finish the loop around the lake. If I run alone, I won't put a bandage on so a callous forms.

I ran 6 miles at the park in upper 20's and sun. Foot still soft and gets numb from rubbing. Will get better in a couple weeks when callous forms from running more.
