Wisconsin
I spent Thanksgiving weekend in Wisconsin visiting kids and grandkids. Friday I took my daughter's dog for a run, but it was so cold my face was freezing so I cut it short - 1/2 mile.
Sunday afternoon it warmed up to high 30's in the afternoon, and I ran 3 miles with Jerry on the Glacial - Drumlin Trail. Nice.

Update
For the month of August I fought a nasty head cold that settled in my chest, and spent September trying to clear my chest. Oct 3 Dianne had shoulder replacement and I was nurse into November.November 4th I was able to run 3 miles without stopping and walking for the first time this year. November 10th I drove to Hudson Mills Metro Park and ran a 5k without walking. Then I met some people from Michigan who are on the Cardiac Athletes Forum. They ran the 10k and we went to Dexter for lunch. I finished in the middle of the race.
Several days later I ran on the Trolley trails with Bailey for 2 miles. First time on those trails. Hilly.
My weight is down from winter and I need more training.

July 3rd I met my son and daughter's families in Frankenmuth Michigan. After chicken dinner, we watched fireworks. July 4th morning, Sean, Jerry and I ran the 10k in Volkslaufe race, Jerry getting 3rd in age group. I wore Hansons team kit and had the team and Olympian Desi Davila cheering for me.
Rested after race, and ran 3 times this week. Getting stronger.

Knee trouble
Last Saturday I ran 6 miles and stubbed my toe, hurting inside of knee. I took a week off, and ran 6 miles today on the trail. The knee is a tad stiff, but good to run.
I attract young people when I run now. I counselled a young guy on becoming a heel striker, and ran for a while with a young woman. I invited both to join the YPOM club.
Trying to bang myself into shape for 10k July 4th in Frankenmuth with Sean and Jerry.
