Stoney Creek

I ran 6 1/2 miles at the park. Disco ran 8, but my foot kept going numb so he went without me. Talked to 2 women who were planning on running a marathon in Santiago, Chile in May. I told them it won't happen due to the massive eathquake there yesterday.

Stoney Creek

I ran 8 miles with Disco this morning without having to stop. I put a bandage on the inside of my foot to prevent rubbing and turning numb. Weather was in the 30's and pleasant. We ran on the bike path to the entrance to the park and back to finish the loop around the lake. If I run alone, I won't put a bandage on so a callous forms.

I ran 6 miles at the park in upper 20's and sun. Foot still soft and gets numb from rubbing. Will get better in a couple weeks when callous forms from running more.

Bumper Run

In the first race of the season, I went to Stoney Creek for a 6:15 start. Temps in 20"s and windy, I had a headlite for night running. I ran hard and stopped a couple times for a numb foot. I finished 24/24, but enjoyed the run. 15th edition, and the race director is planning a big deal for the 20th. Bike path was plowed with areas snow covered.

Stoney Creek

Ran 6 miles at the park this morning. 21 degrees with a stiff wind. 3 layers on my legs and 4 on top. Used a scarve to cover my nose running into the wind. When the wind was at my back and the sun in my face, I was warm. Felt good. Race Wed. night.
