Race

I haven't been training regulary because I have been buried in work - a good thing. I went to Lake Orion this morning to race and pass out flyers for the Senior Olympics 5k run in July. The race directer, Mary died suddenly and the race was renamed the Mary Boes Memorial 5k in her honor.
I ran with Jim and scored first in my age group! That doesn't happen often. There were lots of narly old men, but they were all over 65. Got a great coffee cup and I've been smilin' all day.
10:55 pace in 51 plus degrees and sun and breeze. Talked to old running friends Donna Olson, Charlie Larnard and more.
